My article does not appear

If an article does not appear in your newsroom, check the following scenarios. If none have solved the problem, please contact support@presspage.com

  1. Has the article been published? Check the status in the Publish options.
  2. Has the page been created as custom page? Custom pages will not be added in any Newsroom module. For Custom pages you can create a button to the custom page or add a button to your newsroom navigation. If the article needs to be in a Newsroom module, you can change the page type in the Page settings. To change this, go to the Pages Dashboard and search for the title or navigate to the custom pages section. Once you have located the page, hover over the title and select Page settings. In the Page settings, change the Page type from Custom page to Article page.

  3. Have the correct tags been added to the article? Some modules work with include tags, and articles will only appear if the corresponding tags have been added.
    If you are unsure what tags to add, find the module where you want the article to appear in the platform. Make sure to check if the module is on the homepage or on a custom page, and navigate there accordingly. Once you located the module, click edit to see what tags have been added to the include tag field. Match those tags in the article.
  4. Has an exclude tag been added to the article? In the Headlines module, Tag cloud, and Search module you can add exclude tags instead of include tags. These tags will exclude articles tagged with the corresponding tag.

  5. By default, an article that appears in a Featured article or News carousel will not appear a second time in another Headlines module on the same page. In the relevant Headlines module, enable the option 'Include previously displayed articles' under the 'Display options'. When enabled, articles that appear in the Featured article or News carousel, will also appear in the headline.

  6. Have the correct publication settings been enabled? In the Publish options of the article page check what boxes have been checked under the Publication settings > Page visible in. Check any boxes of locations where the article should appear.
