When you use PressPage to publish releases and send out Email Campaigns, you'll often find that these two are connected to each other: you'll email people about a release you've previously published, or the way people interact with your campaigns will somehow find itself into a release.
Besides using the 'Base Email Campaign on Newsroom Release' option, it is also possible to reference cases in your campaign without including them in their entirety. This is done using the Article Module. The Article module contains the featured image of your release, the title, some text, and a link to the complete article.
Clicking the featured image of an article module will open the connected release in the newsroom.
It grabs the attention of readers and works a lot better than a simple "learn more here" link while giving them an idea of what they can expect when clicking. You can edit the Article module to fit your email campaign, all you need to do is head to Module Settings on the right side of your screen.
With multiple article modules in your email campaign, creating a newsletter is really simple and saves you the time you would otherwise put into manually adding content. Include the most well-read articles of the past few months and you have a great way to keep your email readers up to date with the latest events, while driving traffic to your newsroom.
To help you out with this, we've included a step-by-step guide on how to create newsletters.
PressPage Mail currently allows you to include one Article Module per campaign. Multiple article modules are available with PressPage Mail Premium. Visit the Mail Premium Pricing and Upgrade page for more details.
