When you use Presspage to publish articles and send out Email Campaigns, you'll often find that these two are connected to each other: you'll email people about an article you've previously published, or the way people interact with your campaigns will somehow find itself into an article.
Besides using the 'Base Email Campaign on Newsroom article' option, it is also possible to reference pages in your campaign without including them in their entirety. This is done using the Article Module. The Article module contains the featured image of your article, the title, some text, and a link to the complete article.
Clicking the featured image of an article module will open the connected article in the newsroom.
It grabs the attention of readers and works a lot better than a simple "learn more here" link while giving them an idea of what they can expect when clicking. You can edit the Article module to fit your email campaign, all you need to do is head to Module Settings on the right side of your screen.
With multiple article modules in your email campaign, creating a newsletter is really simple and saves you the time you would otherwise put into manually adding content. Include the most well-read articles of the past few months and you have a great way to keep your email readers up to date with the latest events, while driving traffic to your newsroom.
To help you out with this, we've included a step-by-step guide on how to create newsletters.
