00:00 Introduction to Newsroom Homepage Setup

In this video, I’ll explain how you can set up and maintain your newsroom homepage using the newsroom platform.

We’re currently looking at a newsroom for a fictional company called EarthBone Petfood, which I created in my demo account.
Here, you can see all the modules I’ve already added and configured for this homepage.

00:41 Introduction Page Layout - Backbone of Newsroom Product

Now, let’s dive into the platform to see where you can manage the homepage.

In the Presspage platform, go to the Newsroom Products section and select Homepage from the dropdown menu.

This brings you to the Page Layout screen.
The Page Layout is the backbone of the Newsroom products — not only for the homepage, but also for your article pages, custom pages, and the media library.

01:22 How to Restructure the Homepage, and Edit and Delete Modules

On this page, you’ll see all the modules currently enabled for the homepage. Any changes you make here will be reflected immediately.

You can drag and drop modules to rearrange them as needed.
If you hover over a module, you’ll see the options to either edit it directly or delete it if you no longer need it.

01:45 Add a New Module

To add a new module, go to the Modules List in the left-hand menu.
You can either scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top.

Let’s add a Headlines module.
I’ll search for "Headlines," select the module, and follow the steps to add it.

Once everything is ready, I’ll click Save.
