This article explains how to create a campaign connected to an article in the platform via the Article's Publish Options. Connecting a campaign to an article allows you to quickly turn published content into a ready-to-send email, ensuring consistency between your newsroom and your outreach. It streamlines your workflow by reducing manual setup and enables you to publish and distribute content at the same time. This is especially valuable for time-sensitive updates such as company or investor relations communications, where content needs to go live across channels simultaneously. By managing this in one place, you reduce reliance on multiple tools or teams and lower the risk of errors.

Creating a Campaign from the Publish Options
- On the Pages overview find and open an Article you wish to publish and send out.
- In the Article, click Publish Options from the left side.
- In Publish Options navigate to the Distribution Options section and click Add channel.
- From the dropdown choose the option Email Campaign.

The article text and modules will be copied over into an Draft campaign and the platform will be redirected to the Campaign editor.
- In the editor, make any necessary changes and preview the campaign
- Once the campaign is ready, click Recipients to add Contacts, Lists or Media Database lists to the Campaign.
- After adding the recipients, continue by clicking Publish Options. The platform will redirect you back to Publish Options.
- In Publish Option change the Article Status to Publish or Schedule. At the chosen day and time, the Article and Campaign will be published and distributed simultaneously.
Re-syncing from the Article Page Text
When you have added Email as distribution option to an Article, and there last minute changes, you can re-sync the article content with the email content. This ensures the Email campaign reflects the changes made in the Article.
- In the Article's Page Text, click Linked campaign(s) in the top right.
- If there isn't a Campaign created yet, click Create Campaign to create a linked Email.
- If there already is a linked campaign, it will be listed in the dropdown.
- Click Resync next to the title. This will update the Campaign based on the current version of the Article and its modules.
- Syncing only works from the Article to the Campaign, not the other way around.
- Any changes made in the Campaign will be overwritten.
- Once the Campaign has been sent, a Statistics button will appear in the Linked Campaign dropdown, giving you direct access to the Campaign statistics..
Re-syncing from the Campaign editor
Alternatively, there is also a Resync campaign button in the Campaign editor. Click this button to update the Campaign based on the Article.
