Integrations
Create Presspage API token
Generate an API token by clicking Create API token. Tokens will only be shown once, so make sure to copy and securely store them. Use this token to integrate Presspage with Staffbase Communications Control (SCC). Currently, our API only supports the SCC integration. We hope to add more integrations in the future.
Enable Custom Bit.ly domain
Shorten Newsroom URLs via Bit.ly.
Connect your Bit.ly account by providing an access token:
- Fill out the Generic Access Token of your existing bit.ly account and
- Select Save.
For every future article, the platform will generate custom short URLs for articles of that account.
Other settings
Enable the cookie notification
Enables the native cookie notification. This blocks the platform cookies and third party cookies, until visitors have clicked on accept. With the cookie notification enabled, all modules that use cookies will be blocked. Via the cookie settings the notification's texts and buttons can be adjusted.
Exclude Media Assets from Media Library
It's possible to exclude all uploaded assets from the media library by default, so all newly uploaded assets will not appear the Media Library unless explicitly indicated. Toggling this switch to the on setting will prevent all newly uploaded assets from appearing in the Media Library.
If you want to control the visibility of a single asset, open the asset options in the Asset Manager and enable Exclude from Media Library.
Show featured images on archive pages
Articles displayed on archive pages will include their featured images.
Enable Google translate
Enables automatic translation of textual content via Google Translate. Users can translate newsroom content into their preferred language.
Reset & Export
Reset account cache
Use Reset Cache to refresh cached versions of your newsroom pages. This can be used if a page does not change automatically after saving an update.
Export data
Click Export data to download all newsroom content and custom pages in a ZIP file. The export includes JSON feeds of all articles, custom pages, and multimedia. Added content will be available until one (1) month after termination of the contract.
