This article explains how to turn on AI tools in Presspage and choose which AI-powered features everyone in your account can use. Admins manage AI tools in Settings > Account settings > AI tools.
AI tools replaces the Allow AI toggle that was in Advanced settings.

Before you begin
Only Admins can change AI tools settings. Your changes apply to every user in the account. By default, AI tools are disabled.
Turn on AI tools
The Enable AI tools toggle controls all AI features in your Presspage account. Turn it on first, then turn on the AI assistance you want under Features.

- Go to Account settings > AI tools.
- Set Enable AI tools to ON.
- Click Save.
Turn on Brand Context
Brandguard and Composer use Brand Context to check and write content that fits your brand, so turn it on before you use either of them. Brand Context holds your brand’s tone of voice, key messages and guidelines.
- Set Brand Context to ON.
- Click Save.
- Click Edit brand context to set up your brand narrative, key themes, tone of voice and terminology.

Turn on Brandguard and Composer
You can only turn on Brandguard and Composer when Brand Context is on and a brand profile has been saved at least once. Until then, their toggles are locked. Both features are in beta, so how they work and how they look may change before general release.
- Brandguard - reviews your content when you create or edit a Page. It recommends SEO and GEO improvements and checks that the content fits your brand narrative before you publish. See Brandguard AI Content Assistant (Beta).
- Composer - When adding a Page, composer lets you upload a draft as a .docx file and adds its content to the Page as modules.
- Check that Brand Context is set to ON.
- Set each feature you want to use to ON.
- Click Save.
Turn on Inline writing tools
Inline writing tools use AI to rewrite, summarize and refine your text, and to adjust its tone of voice. They don’t need Brand Context.
- Set Inline writing tools to ON.
- Click Save.
Turn off AI tools
When you set Enable AI tools to OFF, no one in the account can use any of the AI features. Each feature keeps its own setting, so the features you had on come back when you turn AI tools on again.
- Set Enable AI tools to OFF.
- Click Save.
To turn off only one feature, set its toggle to OFF and click Save.
