00:00 Introduction Statements
Pre-prepared statements.
So if you get a lot of similar requests, for example interview requests, requests for media that can be images, videos, b roll, whatever you have.
Or maybe there is a bit of an escalation or maybe even a crisis going on and you're getting the same questions over and over again.
And you find yourself copy and pasting the same answer every time you can set that up as a statement.
00:28 Adding a Statement
So to do so, just click on the green button here and fill out the subject, access, description, message, et cetera.
Maybe good to highlight the description is just for yourself. Internally, what is the description of this message. And the message part is the part that is actually copied over into the system, so just to distinguish those two.
And lastly, just make sure to put it on publish so you can actually use it.
00:56 Example Statement
I've created one here just to save some time but here you can sort of see the basic makeup of that statement.
So this is very generic. 'Thank you for your inquiry. We'll respond to you in X amount of days.'
So here you can see the distinction between the description and the statement as well.
You can make changes here and then I'll show you how to implement that in an actual inquiry.
And the nice thing is you can always make changes also in the inquiry itself. You can make changes on the spot so if the core message needs to be the same but you need to make some more changes you can always do that.
01:33 Using a Statement to answer Inquiry
Statements. So here you can use the statements.
'Thank you for your inquiry. We aim to get back to you within one working day.'
So this is something I pre prepared in the statements part.
I can still make changes. So let's say I don't want to use this number. It's a different number. You can just update that whatever details you have. And then again, you can submit this.
