0:00 Preparing CSV files

You can import your existing contacts and contact lists into the platform using a CSV file.

Start by preparing your contact list—download it as a CSV file from your tool, or use Excel or Google Sheets to convert it into one.

If you plan to create multiple lists, it’s helpful to save each group of contacts in a separate file. This will help you stay organized.

0:28 Upload CSV and Map Fields

Next, go to the dashboard and click Add Contacts, then select Import Contacts.

Upload your CSV file and match the column headers to the corresponding contact fields in the platform. Use the pagination to review and confirm that each field is mapped correctly.

Click Next to continue to the import options screen.

1:00 Import Options

If your account supports multiple languages, you can assign or restrict the list to a specific language.

Enable the Update data of contacts if email address already exists option if you want to overwrite existing contact details in the platform.

You can also add contacts to an existing list by selecting it from the dropdown. Alternatively, create a new list by entering a list title.

To control access, check Restrict user access, then choose the users who should have visibility. Only those selected will be able to view, edit, or send campaigns to this list.

Once the import is complete, an import summary report will appear. The contacts will be added to the database, and the list will be visible in the Lists dashboard.

2:12 Import CSV via Lists Dashboard

You can also import contacts directly via the Lists dashboard.

Click Create a new list, then fill out the list details. Once the list is created, open it and select Import a contact list.

Upload your CSV file and follow the same steps described earlier to complete the import.
