00:00 Introduction
Once you're ready with adding text to your article or custom page, you can enrich the page by adding modules to make it more visually appealing.
On the left-hand side, you’ll find all available modules. After adding modules, you can rearrange their order, along with the article types, via the page layout.
Before we dive in, let’s look at the current article. It’s a simple one, without any enrichment: it has a title, subtitle, summary, paragraphs with and without subheadings, and the boilerplate at the bottom.
Now, let’s head back into the platform and start adding some modules. There are quite a few available, but for this article, we’ll focus on the most-used ones: Contact Information, Quotes, Multimedia (Images, Videos, Downloads), and the Media Kit.
Towards the end, we’ll look at Page Layout, where you can rearrange everything you've added.
01:24 Page Layout
Now that we’ve added modules, let’s rearrange them!
By default, all new modules appear at the top of the article page.
To rearrange them:
- Go to Page Layout.
- Drag and drop modules into your preferred order.
The Page Layout is an abstract view of your article, showing all modules and text blocks.
This is why giving modules clear titles is so important — it helps you find and move them easily.
02:43 Rearranging the Side Column: 2 Column vs. 1 Column Article Pages
In some articles, there’s a Side Column.
You need to arrange that separately from the main column.
If your newsroom doesn’t use a side column (i.e., only a single main column), drag all side column modules into the main column.
Once you’ve rearranged everything, refresh your page to see the final result.
You’ll now see the gallery, quotes, video, boilerplate, and other modules in the new order.
