This article explains why color profiles matter when uploading high-resolution images to your Presspage Newsroom.
If you upload high-resolution photos to your Asset Manager, convert them to the sRGB color profile before uploading. Images with an Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB profile can appear washed out or slightly desaturated in a web browser.
Convert your images before uploading, since Presspage doesn't offer in-application support for this kind of image processing. Image processing programs such as Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom do a much better job converting your photos to sRGB than a browser ever will, with minimal color loss.
Note: even after conversion, extremely vibrant colors may still look slightly different. sRGB has a narrower color range than Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB, but it's better suited for the web. Most browsers try to render images as sRGB regardless of their original color profile, but converting them beforehand ensures they display consistently across all browsers and applications.
