The Banner module allows you to highlight key information at the top of your Homepage. Adding visual media such as an image or video helps capture attention and reinforce your message. You can add a title, subtitle, image, and optional call to action button.
This article explains how to enable and configure the Banner module.
Adding a Banner
Go to Newsroom in the navigation bar.
In the sidebar, open the Miscellaneous tab, and choose Banner.
Switch the toggle from OFF to ON.
Configuring the Banner settings:
In Banner details, choose the layout that fits your design.
- Choose a layout:
- Text overlay - Displays text on top of the selected image or video
- Text alignment - Choose Left, Centered, or Right to define how the text is positioned.
- Text on side - Displays the text to the left or right of the image. If no image or video is added, a grey background is shown.
- Media position - Choose whether the image appears on the left or right of the text.
- Media position - Choose whether the image appears on the left or right of the text.
- Text overlay - Displays text on top of the selected image or video
- Content - Add content to the Banner
- Title - Displays as the main heading in the Banner.
- Subtitle - Adds supporting text below the title.
- Add Media - Adding an image or video makes the Banner more visually engaging and supports the message you want to communicate.
- Open the dropdown and select Image or Video.
- The Asset manager opens automatically. Select a image or video or upload a new one.
- Button - Use the button to direct visitors to important pages, such as a featured article, campaign page, or contact form.
- Enter the button Title
- Add the URL the button should link to.
- Select Open in new window if the link should open in a separate browser tab.
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
The Banner module will now be visible on the Homepage.
