This article explains how to add the Media Kit module to an article. The Media Kit allows visitors to download selected assets from the article in a single zip file. It can also include a generated PDF version of the article.
Table of contents
How the Media Kit works
The total size of all bundled assets should not exceed 500 MB.
The Media Kit bundles assets from the following modules into one zip file:
- Downloads
- Audio
- Image
- Inline images and images added inside text blocks are not included.
- Video
- Embedded videos are not included.
Assets larger than 500 MB are excluded. This typically applies to large video files. Smaller videos are included as long as the total size of all bundled assets does not exceed the limit.
Adding a Media Kit
You can add the Audio module to a specific Page
-
Go to the Newsroom dropdown and select Homepage, or go to Pages and open the Page you want to edit.
-
In the sidebar, open the Multimedia tab under Modules and select Media kit.
-

-
Enter the text that should appear on the download button.
- (optional) Select Include generated PDF of textual elements to add the article PDF to the Media Kit.
- Click Save to confirm
The Media Kit module will now be viewable in the sidebar of your articles.
Include article as PDF
You can choose to include a generated PDF of the article. This option is unchecked by default. If you would like to have this option checked for past articles, please contact support@presspage.com
The generated PDF contains:
- The article text in plain format
- The article URL displayed below the text
- The text from the Personal Contact Information module
- Layout styling and images are not included.
If you need a branded PDF with custom layout and images, upload your own PDF file and make it available through the Downloads module.
