Which fonts to use for email campaigns

Email clients support a limited set of fonts. To avoid display issues, only web-safe fonts are recommended. If a font is not supported, the email client will replace it with a fallback font.

Supported fonts

The platform supports the following web-safe fonts:

  • Arial
  • Times New Roman
  • Courier New
  • Georgia
  • Lucida
  • Verdana
  • Tahoma
  • Trebuchet

These fonts are widely supported across email clients and devices.

Using custom fonts

Custom or web fonts are not fully supported in email campaigns. If used, they may not display correctly and will fall back to a default font.

To maintain a consistent appearance, always define a fallback font when using custom fonts.

Best practices

  • Use web-safe fonts to ensure consistent rendering
  • Always include a fallback font
  • Test emails across different devices and email clients
  • Keep styling simple to avoid display issues
  • Support may vary depending on the email client. Always test your campaign before sending.
