RSS feed module

The RSS feed module allows you to display external news headlines in your Newsroom or on a Page. By connecting an external RSS feed URL, you can automatically show the latest updates from another source. This article explains how to add and configure the RSS feed module.

Adding a RSS module

  1. Open the Newsroom tab in the navigation bar, choose Homepage or Pages to edit an individual Page.

  2. In the sidebar, open the Miscellaneous tab and select RSS feed.

  3. Click Add module to enable the RSS feed module.

Configure the RSS layout

After adding the module, configure the following settings:

  1. Title - Add a title for the RSS feed. This title will be displayed above the headlines in the Newsroom or on the Page.

  2. URL - Enter the full URL of the external RSS feed.
  3. Display mode - Select how the feed items should appear:
    1. List - List of headlines without thumbnails
    2. Scroll - List of headlines with thumbnails
    3. Blocks - Displays headlines in separate content blocks with additional layout options.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

The RSS feed module will automatically update when new items are published in the connected feed.

Configure the RSS feed Blocks display mode

When selecting Blocks as the display mode, additional settings become available:

  • Number of Headlines of show - Define how many feed items are displayed.
  • Maximum allowed length of title - Set the maximum number of characters shown for each headline.
  • Maximum allowed lengts of preview text - Set the maximum number of characters shown in the preview text.
