This article will explain how to add a "Calendar" module to a Newsroom or article. This module allows visitors to easily see upcoming events or notable dates and can link to relevant articles within the Newsroom.

Adding the calendar module
- Go to 'Newsroom' in the navigation bar.
- Click on the "Miscellaneous" tab, and then "Calendar".
- Toggle the "OFF" button to "ON"
Adding dates to the calendar
- Add notable event dates that will be highlighted by clicking the green "Add" button.
- Enter a title, date, and time, if applicable. Click the box next to "Hide time" to make it invisible on the Newsroom. Add a short description, if applicable.
- If an article has been created that is relevant to the calendar entry, it can be selected from the drop down menu under "Select article". This will automatically populate the thumbnail with the article's featured image.
- Click "Save" or repeat the above steps to add more events to the Calendar module.
Changing the layout of the Calendar Module
Choose how the calendar will appear on the Newsroom from the following options.
- Calendar: A monthly calendar will be displayed, with notable dates indicated with a small dot. The current day will be highlighted.
- List : Only any notable, upcoming events will be listed.
- Calendar & List : Displays the calendar, with the listed notable events below:
To make the featured image thumbnail visible on the Newsroom, click the "Thumbnail" button. Thumbnails are only visible in 'List' or 'Calendar & List' views.
If past events should remain visible on the Newsroom, click the box next to "Show past events".
Finally, click "Save" when you're satisfied with the changes.
