Facebook Like Pile or Stream

The Facebook module allows visitors to both Like and view recent posts to the user's Facebook page without navigating away from the Homepage or Page.

This article explains how to add a Facebook Like Pile or stream to a Newsroom or Page.

Facebook widget types

The Facebook module offers two widget types:

• Like Pile - The widget will be display the profile picture, background picture, a “Like” button and a preview of others who have “Liked” the page already. Visitors can click the “Like” button while staying on the Newsroom or article page.
   

• Facebook Stream - The widget will display the profile picture, background picture and a “Like” button, but now also includes the latest posts on the Facebook page, which is scrollable.
   

  

Adding a Facebook module

1. Go to the Newsroom dropdown and select Homepage or a specific Page from Pages.
    

   

2. In the sidebar, select the dropdown Social Media and Facebook.
    

   

3. In the Facebook Module, select Add Module at the top right corner.
    

   

4. Fill in the fields
   1. Title - Opt to display the title by checking the option Show title in Newsroom.
   2. Widget type - Select the Like Pile or Facebook Stream.
   3. Facebook URL - Enter the URL of the relevant Facebook page into the box provided.
      
5. Select Save. The widget will now be visible on the Newsroom or article.
6. Drag and drop the module in the right location via the Page layout.
7. To add additional modules repeat the steps.

Removing a Facebook module

To turn off a Facebook module: 

1. Toggle the switch to OFF to temporary remove a module.
2. Select the x icon to permanently delete the module. 
3. Select Save to confirm. The module will no longer be visible on the Homepage or Page.
