Quotes

The Quotes module helps you highlight key statements, expert insights, or leadership commentary in a visually engaging way. Quotes break up long blocks of text and make your article easier to read. Readers can also share quotes directly on X.

Adding Quotes to the Homepage or Pages.

1. Open the Newsroom dropdown and select Homepage, or go to Pages to open a specific page.

   

2. Homepage - In the sidebar, open the Miscellaneous tab and select Quotes.
   • Pages - Find Quotes directly in the sidebar.
      
3. Select Add Module. 
   • To place quotes in different sections of the page, select Add module to insert another quote. You can then rearrange the quotes in the Page layout to position them as needed.
4. In the Quote module screen fill out the quote details:
   • Title - Enter a title. 
   • Quote number - Add one or more quotes in the module. 
   • Quote [number] - Enter the quote. 
     • Only include the Quote text. Quotation marks are added automatically.
   • Quote by - Add the name of the person credited for the quote. This field is required. 
     • After saving the platform saves the profile. To reuse an existing profile, start typing their name in the Quote by field. A list of matching results will appear, allowing you to select the correct person. Once selected, the Quote by, Avatar, and social fields will automatically populate with the saved information.
       
   • Avatar (Choose file) - Include a photo of the quoted person. Select Choose File to upload a file from your computer.
   • Social media - Connect related social media. For example from the quoted person or company.
5. Select Save to confirm the changes.

The Quote(s) will appear on the Homepage or Page.
