The News carousel highlights your most recent or most important articles at the top of your Newsroom. You can choose from multiple layouts to match your design and content strategy.

Adding a News carousel

Open the Newsroom dropdown and select Homepage, or go to Pages to open a specific page.

In the sidebar, open the Miscellaneous tab and select News carousel.

Select Add Module.
- Click Save to apply your settings.
The News Carousel module will appear on the Page.
Configuring the News carousel settings
By default, the News Carousel displays the three most recently published articles. You can refine what appears in the module:

Choose your layout

Default - Articles appear in a list view. The featured image is displayed beside the headline. Hover over a headline to preview the image and description.

Slider - Displays one article at a time. Automatically rotates through articles. Shows the featured image prominently

Slider full width - Works the same as the Slider layout, but expands across the full width of the page

Slider settings:
- Transition type - Choose a transition effect: slide or fade.
- Interval time (seconds) - Set the time interval for automatic rotation.
- Amount of headlines to show - Set the number of headlines included in the News carousel

- Show subtitle - Include the subtitle of the Article page.
- Include tags - Show only articles with a specific tag.
- Character limit preview text - Define how many characters appear in the preview. A Read more link is added after the limit.
- Read more text - Customize the default link text.

Exclude tags - Hide articles with a specific tag (only works if there are no Include tags added).
Click Save to apply your settings.
