Page Layout

The Page layout shows all enabled modules on a Newsroom homepage, article, custom page, or media library page. You can see modules placed in the main column and (if used) in the side column. Here you can reorder modules to control how content appears to visitors.

Main column

The main column contains the primary content of the newsroom. This is where most modules are placed, such as:

Homepage:

  • News carousel
  • Tag cloud
  • Headlines
  • Image gallery
  • Card modules
  • Contact details

(article) Pages:

  • Text block
  • Quotes
  • Multimedia

Side column

The side column is used for secondary content. Common examples include the Media library button, contact information, social media.

If the newsroom template does not include a side column, the side column and its modules are hidden from visitors but remain visible in the platform.

Adding modules

Available modules are listed on the left side of the screen under Modules. Selecting a module adds it to the Page layout. Once added, it appears in the main or side column depending on the module type.

Reordering modules

Modules can be reordered by dragging them up or down within a column. This changes the order in which they appear on the Newsroom’s Homepage or Page.

If a Page uses a single column layout, move modules out of the side column to make them visible on the page.
