00:00 Introduction of Contacts Dashboards
In the Contacts dashboard, you can view and manage all your contacts. Use the Add Contacts button to add them individually or upload in bulk.
To quickly find a specific contact, use the search box or apply filters.
Use the mass select option (checkbox icon) to reveal additional actions, such as:
- Add the contact to a list
- Export selected contacts
- Remove the hard bounce or inquiry-only status
- Delete the contact
00:50 Contact Details Screen
To view more information about a contact, click on their name. This takes you to the Contact Details screen.
On the left side, you can:
- View and edit the contact’s details
- Assign tags to organize your database
Examples of tags are: Influencer, Investor Relations, Internal Stakeholder
Below, you'll see the lists that the contact belongs to. You can add or remove them from lists as needed.
If your account includes multiple newsrooms and/or languages, manage the contact’s access via the Account and Language section.
02:06 Inquiry Only Contacts
Watch out for the red eye icon—this indicates an *inquiry-only contact*. These contacts have been added through the Inquiries product but haven’t opted in yet. As a result, they cannot receive email campaigns.
02:19 Maintaining a Healthy Contact Database: Unsubscribes and Hard Bounces
It’s important to regularly check for hard bounces and unsubscribes to maintain a clean database.
- Hard bounces can be reviewed and either updated or removed.
- Unsubscribed contacts will remain in your database, but they won't receive emails, even if they’re added to a campaign.
- If needed, you can safely delete these contacts. If they’re re-added accidentally in the future, their unsubscribe status will still be remembered.
