00:00 Selecting Journalists in the Search Results

To select journalists from the Media Database, you can either choose contacts individually or use the mass select option.
Make sure to navigate through all result pages and select any relevant contacts across them.

00:24 Submit a Search Request for the Database

Need help finding specific contacts? Reach out to our support team.
They'll research and reach out to relevant journalists or outlets to invite them to join the database—always in line with GDPR compliance.

00:41 Add Contacts to a List

You can add selected contacts to an existing list or create a new one.
When creating a new list, enter a title. Please note: your search filters won’t be saved, so we recommend including key filters in the list name for reference.

01:12 Add Contacts to a List: Language Access and User Access

If your account supports multiple languages, be sure to select the appropriate language access for the list.
For Premium and Enterprise plans, you can also manage list visibility in the Contacts section, whether the list is owned or pulled from the Media Database.

When creating or editing a list, you can restrict user access. Check the “Restrict user access” box, then choose which users should have access. Click Save when you're done.

Only selected users will be able to view, edit, or use the list in email campaigns. Other users won’t see or interact with it in their dashboards.

01:40 Downloading the Contacts and MD Lists Dashboard

Once everything is set, click Save.
The platform will begin downloading the contacts from the database—this may take a few moments.
After the download is complete, the contacts and list will be available under Media Database Lists.
