00:00 Page details

In this video we'll cover how to add a published city, tags, and featured image, and how to edit the slug in the page details.

You arrive at the page text screen after completing the page settings. Here you add your text and inline images.

This is also where you configure the main details of your article page. Scroll to the bottom to find the page details. This area controls how your article appears once it is published.

00:22 Publish date and city

The display published date checkbox is on the right, and is enabled by default. If you do not want the published date to appear on the article, uncheck it.

Below it, you can add the city. If you fill out this field, the city will display next to the published date in the newsroom.

00:36 Slug: Page URL

The slug defines the unique URL for your page.

It is copied from your page title by default. You can edit the slug until it is published.

Once the page is published, be careful when changing it because it might cause a dead link for visitors.
Instead, if you need a different URL, add a second slug and it will redirect visitors to the original.

00:55 Tags

Add tags to help organize your articles within the newsroom. Articles with tags will automatically be assigned to or excluded from modules, pages, and archives according to their tag settings.

Use the drop-down menu in the tag field to add the tags.

Administrator or manager users can also create new tags directly through the tag field.

Lastly, check the display on page option to make the tags visible on the article page.

01:18 Featured image

The images included in the previews of the article are called the Featured Image. If no images added, the account logo will appear with the preview.

Select the featured image placeholder to open the asset manager. You can upload a new image or choose one from your library.

The featured image does not appear inside the article body unless you check display featured image on top of page.

Lastly, if you want to display an alternative or cropped image in the carousel or featured article on the newsroom, Check, use optional banner image and choose your alternative image.
