How to use Inquiries (video)

Get to know the Inquiry Dashboard in Presspage. This video walks you through adding new inquiries, navigating the inquiry detail page, send replies, and managing related contacts and organizations. It also covers how to view and interpret inquiry statistics.

Assignment:

Start from your inbox and send an Inquiry to the Inquiry address. Go into Inquiries and open the new Inquiry. Make changes to the Inquiry details, Contact and Organization information. In the conversation field create an internal note, and reply to the Inquiry via the message box.

00:00 Inquiry Dashboard Introduction

Once you have completed the initial setup of the inquiry email address, settings, and integrations with other tooling, you can find all inquiries on the Dashboard.

Here, you can track all incoming messages.
Use the Search Bar or Filter Box at the top to quickly find inquiries.

You can filter inquiries assigned to yourself, or use the Left Menu to navigate between different statuses: Unread, Open, Pending, and Closed, for a quick overview of inquiries at each stage.

To log a phone call or manually add an inquiry, click the Add Inquiry button to open the form.

First, fill in the Inquiry Title, Language, Description, and Contact fields — these are mandatory.
You can also check the Notification option to ensure the contact receives an email about the new inquiry.

Lastly, set a Deadline for better tracking.
Once you’ve completed all relevant fields, click Save to add the new inquiry to the dashboard.

If you have set up any integrations, new inquiries or responses in an existing inquiry thread will be logged automatically.

To view new responses or update an inquiry:

  • Open it from the dashboard.
  • Modify any inquiry details on the left-hand side of the Inquiry Detail Page.

When sending a reply, your message will be sent directly to the recipient’s inbox.
Hit the Submit button to send and update the status as needed.

You can also manually log follow-up inquiries — like a phone call or an email received in your personal inbox — by clicking the Log Message tab and typing your message.
You can add Internal Notes for other users before submitting.

03:28 Inquiries Contacts and Organization

For better record-keeping, you can update Contact and Organization details directly from an inquiry.

Click on the contact’s or organization's name to modify their information and keep everything accurate and up to date.

The platform will redirect you to the Contacts tab, where you can edit the necessary details.
When you’re done, use the Pathfinder to easily return to the inquiry.

04:00 Inquiries Statistics

The Statistics section provides valuable insights into:

  • The number of inquiries received
  • Closed inquiries
  • Average completion time

This helps you track response efficiency and optimize workflows.

Additionally, you can monitor Contact and Organization Activity to understand trends in your inquiry submissions.
