Many articles are not just published to the newsroom, they are also sent out via Presspage Mail in the form of an email campaign, and linked together to ensure they are published at the same time.
In case you have already added a Presspage Mail campaign to the article, but there are last minute changes, you can now easily 'resync' the article content with the email content to ensure that your email campaign reflects the changes or updates made in the article in the newsroom.
There is a 'Linked campaign(s)' button in the top right corner of each article, in the editor. If there is no linked campaign, it allows you to create a new campaign based on the article.
If a linked campaign already exists, you will find it listed there, with a 'Resync' button added. This will throw away the old linked campaign and recreate it based on the current version of the article and its modules. Syncing only works from the newsroom article to the email campaign, not the other way around.
It's also important to know that if you have made any changes to the email campaign (but not in the newsroom article), these changes will be thrown away as well.
Once the email campaign has been sent out, you will find a 'Statistics' button to access the statistics of this email campaign.
The 'Resync' button is also visible in draft campaigns; it has the same functionality, a one-way sync from Newsroom Article to Email Campaign.
