Archive Pages
In the Newsroom, Archive pages display an overview of articles based on tags. You can recognize them by /?h=1 in the URL. By default, these pages have a title with the name of the tag in parentheses, like in this screenshot. The Archive pages tab lets you manage the titles used for your archive pages.
Default archive title
Set a default title for all archive pages. This excludes any Archives with a created Archive title (next section). Enter the title you want shown on any archive page that does not have its own custom setting.
You can also choose to show tags in the archive page title by selecting the checkbox 'Show tags on archive page'.
Archive page titles
Set a title for a specific archive page. This is useful when different archive types need their own names, for example Company News or Product News.
To add a custom page title:
- Click Add custom Archive page title
- Copy the URL of the Archive you want to update. Paste it into the field provided.
- If preferred, you can also add these parameters directly and list the tags at the end, separated by commas: ?h=1&t=[tagname],[tagname]
- Enter the title you want displayed.
- Click Save to confirm and the entry will appear in the table below.
Managing existing titles
The table lists the custom archive titles you have added. You can see the Archive page URL and its assigned title. Use this list to review, edit, or delete any titles.
Note: If these changes are not visible on the newsroom after saving, it's possible that you may have existing code in your template overwriting these settings. In that case, please contact Support to have this code removed.
