In PressPage Mail, a branded template is an email template that aligns with your brand guidelines – also called style guide.
Style guides usually contain guidelines for things like the appropriate use of your font(s), color palette, or logo. Using a branded template makes sure that the look and feel of email campaigns sent out using PressPage Mail adhere to that same standard.
If you're not using a branded template, PressPage Mail has a default offering: a single generic mail template that contains your logo at the top. This may suit you if you're a smaller brand or if you haven't settled on a visual style for your brand yet.
For most brands, visual recognition is key. Most people are visual thinkers - they'll read what you write, but they'll remember what they see. Customers, including recipients of your email campaign, will instantly recognize visual elements of some brands.
