Add, remove or re-authenticate an Instagram Module

This article will explain how to connect an Instagram account to the platform and display it on the side column of a Newsroom and/or article, and also how to remove it again.

Add an Instagram module

1. In the sidebar, click on "Social Media" and then on "Instagram".
   
2. Toggle the "OFF" button on the right side to "ON". 
   
3. Click the green button, "Connect your Instagram account".
4. In the next window, enter the credentials for the Instagram account that is to be added.
   
5. A confirmation message will appear.  
6. Click "Save".

The Instagram account will now be visible on the Newsroom side panel. 

Remove an Instagram module

1. In the sidebar, click on "Social Media" and then on "Instagram".
    
2. Click the 'Reset account' button:
   

3. Click "Yes" on the confirmation window.

   
4. Click "Save".
   The Instagram Module will no longer be visible on the account, and the account should be removed from the platform.

Re-authenticate an Instagram module

To re-authenticate an Instagram module, first follow the steps to remove the Instagram module as described above.

1. Then, switch the module back on by toggling the "OFF" button on the right side to "ON". 
   
2. Click the green button, "Connect your Instagram account".
3. In the next window, enter the credentials for the Instagram account that is to be added.
   
4. A confirmation message will appear. Click "Save".
